The Dream Man

The story began in 2006 when a woman visited her psychiatrist after repeatedly dreaming about the same man. She had never met him, so she drew his face from memory. The psychiatrist later showed the sketch to other patients. Several claimed they had seen the same man in their own dreams.

Similar reports soon appeared from around the world. People who had never met each other described the same face. Some said he gave advice. Others said he never spoke at all. No one could explain why so many strangers claimed to recognize someone they had never seen.

He became known simply as The Dream Man.
